Comfort Zone: Protecting Your Comfort ZoneComfort Zone Insulation Team

Franchise with the family

Run your own insulation business, factory-direct, family-backed.

We’ve been making and installing our own cellulose since 1986, and there’s far more demand across SE QLD and Northern NSW than one family can reach. So we’re opening exclusive territories to people who want to run an honest, profitable trade business with a real product behind them.

Why this one's different

A real product moat, not just a logo and a territory.

Most franchises sell you a brand and leave you buying product on the open market. We make the cellulose ourselves, so you get it factory-direct, and you sell something genuinely better than batts.

Factory-direct cellulose

We manufacture Comfort Zone cellulose in Tiaro. As a franchisee you buy it factory-direct, with no middleman markup between you and the product.

40 years of systems

Our installation checklists, the quoting method, the photo-every-job quality process, the safety systems, built over four decades and handed to you, not figured out the hard way.

An honest brand that converts

The same anti-upsell, photo-the-job, no-subbies reputation that wins our customers. People trust it, and that trust is the easiest thing to sell.

What you get, and what it costs

Real training and support, and an honest investment.

You're not handed a logo and left to it. Here's the support behind you, and how we handle the money, straight.

What's included

Factory-direct cellulose, the Comfort Zone brand, an exclusive territory, and our full installation, quoting, quality and safety systems.

Training

Hands-on at the Tiaro factory and on the tools before you run a job solo, then ongoing support. You learn it from us, not the hard way.

Leads & marketing

Our honest brand and this website bring in enquiries, and jobs in your territory route to you. We don't promise a set number of jobs. That depends on you and your market.

The investment

A clear buy-in with a deferred option, and you fund your own truck and gear. Every number is set out in the disclosure document under a confidentiality agreement, so no surprises, no hidden fees.

How it works

From a look to your first job.

1 · Explore

Browse the territory map, meet the operators, and request the info pack. No commitment.

2 · Qualify

A chat and a visit to the Tiaro factory: we get to know each other and you see exactly how the product's made.

3 · Decide

We give you the disclosure document and the real numbers under a confidentiality agreement. By law you get a 14-day period to read it properly before you sign. Meet existing operators, then start training.

How the model works

  • A mobile business: most ceiling jobs are a couple of hours, and a good team does a couple a day.
  • Suits husband-and-wife or father-and-son teams who want to work for themselves.
  • You'll want a White Card, Working at Heights and First Aid. We help you get there.
  • An exclusive territory, so you're not competing with another Comfort Zone van down the road.
  • Training at the factory and on the tools before you run your first job solo.

Earning potential

We don’t put earnings figures on a website. It wouldn’t be right, and the franchising code requires the real numbers to be set out properly. What we will do is walk you through realistic figures for your territory in our disclosure document, under a confidentiality agreement, so you can make a proper decision.

We’d rather you saw it for yourself: come and visit the Tiaro factory, watch how the product is made, and meet the family. Then we’ll talk numbers.

Comfort Zone franchise partners have a reasonable opportunity to recover their investment and make an ongoing profit over the term of the franchise, but a reasonable opportunity is not a guarantee of profit or success, and it doesn't remove the normal risks of running a business. Your results depend on things you control (your effort, winning customers, quality of work, how you run the business) and things you don't (local demand, the economy, competition). Not all franchisees succeed. The real numbers for a territory are set out properly in the disclosure document.

Franchise FAQs

The questions people ask first.

What does the franchise actually include?+

Factory-direct Comfort Zone cellulose from our Tiaro factory, our installation systems and checklists built over 40 years, training, the brand, and an exclusive territory. We share the full detail, including the numbers, in the disclosure document under a confidentiality agreement.

Do I need to be a tradesman?+

It helps, but it's not essential. We train you. You'll want a White Card, Working at Heights and First Aid (we'll help you get sorted). The model suits husband-and-wife and father-and-son teams who want to work for themselves.

How much can I earn?+

We don't put earnings figures on a website. It wouldn't be right, and the franchising code requires the real numbers to be set out properly. We walk you through realistic figures for your territory in the disclosure document, under a confidentiality agreement.

What's the commitment?+

It's a mobile business. Most ceiling jobs take a couple of hours and a good team does a couple a day. Terms and territory are set out in the franchise agreement. The best first step is a chat and a look through the Tiaro factory.

Come and see the factory.

The best way to understand this opportunity is to stand in the Tiaro factory and watch the cellulose being made. Tell us a bit about you and the area you’d cover, and we’ll send the info pack and set up a visit.

Information here is general and not an offer of a franchise. Any franchise is subject to our disclosure document and franchise agreement under the Franchising Code of Conduct. See also franchise information.
