The $1,000 Rodent Reward

We’re so confident rodents won’t nest in our cellulose, we’ll pay $1,000 if they do.

This isn’t us paying people to go hunting in roofs. It’s a challenge. Borate-treated cellulose is genuinely unappealing to rodents as nesting material; they nest in soft fibreglass batts, not in our pumped-in cellulose. So if you ever find evidence of a rodent nest built in our Comfort Zone® cellulose, contact us and we’ll arrange an impartial inspection, fix the insulation, and pay the home owner a $1,000 reward. In all our years insulating we’ve never once seen a rat nest in our pumped-in cellulose, which is exactly why we can stand behind it with a reward.

What it doesn’t cover, in plain English

We’ll always be straight with you. The guarantee covers our insulation and our workmanship. It isn’t a roof-repair warranty. Pre-existing leaks, non-compliant downlights or wiring, and damage from other trades aren’t ours to carry, and we’ll flag anything like that in the job photos before we start. Every job is photographed and the photos are checked before you’re invoiced, the same system on every job, whichever Comfort Zone franchise partner does your roof.
