The way it works is simple. They hand their customer a code, the customer gets $100 off a job above $1,500, and the tradie gets a $100 eGift card*. It’s on the customer’s quote so nothing is hidden, and we list the tradie here and send work back. That’s the whole deal.

Who actually gets the $100 off?
Your customer does, on a job above $1,500. When they quote your code (or scan your QR), our quote comes back with $100 already taken off and your name on it as the person who referred them. Your $100 eGift card* is emailed to you once their job has been paid for.

What do I get out of it?

Is being listed here a paid backlink?
No. We don't sell links and we don't buy them. This is an editorial page, and we only list trades we'd actually recommend and who've asked to be included. A few local reciprocal links between real businesses is normal and fine. The eGift card is for sending us a customer and has nothing to do with the listing.

Can building or pest inspectors take part?
Yes, it's the same deal as every other trade when you meet the homeowner on site. Your customer gets $100 off a job above $1,500 and you get a $100 eGift card*, emailed once their job has been paid for. The quote names you. If you've noted poor or missing insulation in a report and the buyer asks who to call, you're welcome to point them to us, and we're happy to list you here.

Can real-estate agents and property managers take part?
Their clients can. Real-estate agents and property managers can't receive the eGift card because of legal requirements to declare commissions. They can still share their code, and the whole $100 goes to the client. The details are on our Give $100, Get $100 page.

What do I tell my customer about the eGift card?
Tell them before they sign. Something like "I get a thank-you from Comfort Zone if you go ahead. It doesn't change your price." We also put your name and the eGift card on their quote, so it is on the page they read.
