This comparison is from my opinion as an installer since 1988, I have personally insulated 1000's of homes around Brisbane and South East Queensland and these are my observations and recommendations. This is a honest review of the pros and cons of Cellulose Fibre, Polyester and Fibre Glass batts from my vast experience as an insulation contractor. I sell all 3 but as you can see below I only recommend the pumped in Cellulose fibre insulation. In fact it is rare that we install any batts other than the Polyester batts in the floors of homes in the winter. The fibre glass batts are a very cheap solution but you really would be lucky if you are just not buying trouble for the future.
